If you are running late every once in awhile, I understand. But, if you are chronically late, and, even though youre already late, you keep insisting on stopping for coffee/food/etc, at that point youre just rude. Maybe some people think, Hey! Im already late, whats 10 more minutes? but by taking the extra time youre telling those who are waiting for you that you really just dont care about their time.
