If you didnt know, NYPD is notorious for criminal behavior. Many officers carry drop guns - so if they shoot someone who isnt armed, they can drop a gun with the corpse. The guns are almost always stolen and recovered from other criminals. No one searches the police for stolen guns. The NYPD, just like the majority of large police departments, is run like an organized crime syndicate at the expense of the citizenry. They also get away with murder, assault, theft, blackmail, bribery and official oppression. They lie on police reports to protect each other, they lie in court under oath, they falsify evidence and actively engage in the most egregious behaviors or if not - they will turn a blind eye to protect their friends and their own job, their pensions and their positions of authority/immunity. The dishonest, abusive and thieving cops should be rooted out and expelled, jailed and barred from any position of authority for life.
