If you didnt know, its the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Oman. Truly Grand as the name suggests, this Mosque is impressive in almost every aspect. In it is the world’s 2nd largest handwoven carpet that covers the entire floor of the main prayer hall. The Mosque also houses the 2nd largest chandelier in the world, which weighs close to a phenomenal 8.5 tons and is decorated with Swarovski crystals.
