If you go to Oshodi now, you are not likely to meet a single area boy there. They have been moved down to Osun State by the APC to counter PDP expected rigging of the gubernatorial election. The Yoruba people are so poor and miserable today that many are willing to give up their lives for N5, 000. But the politicians continue to brag that the Yoruba will not engage in terrorism in the face of wanton exploitation of their human and natural resources by the federal government. We have more than 20 Yoruba who have enlisted for martyrdom. Their families will be paid N10 million each or its equivalent in dollars. The banks and other businesses in Yorubaland will pay the money, otherwise, they will be attacked when the organized violence starts. If the Yoruba leadership wants peace to reign in Yorubaland, they better start negotiating for Regional Autonomy. A single Yoruba martyr, will bring down the whole of Lagos International Airport. In 1993/94, young Yoruba citizens, hijacked a commercial flight from Lagos and landed in Niger Republic. We will do more now if the federal government continues to refuse the Yoruba nation its demand for Regional Autonomy. For instance, if 90% of the Yoruba wealth and resources had been retained in Yorubaland, there would have been sufficient funds for medical research to combat virus like Ebola. But instead, 90% of the Yoruba income tax, corporation tax, court fines and fees, exercise duties, petroleum tax on roads and vehicles, electricity payments and other revenues, goes to fund development in Hausa/Fulaniland and Iboland.
