Here are some links to a few pieces I completed, today. * Package from early morning voting at the polls in PG County, Maryland https://youtube/watch?v=WLjMrF9LWP8 * Coverage from inside the official election results watch party for Maryland gubernatorial Democratic candidate, Anthony Brown. https://youtube/watch?v=l60ZiFWjJpw Being up at 5AM to prep to get to polls in Maryland before they opened, shooting & editing packages and VOSOTs on deadline, writing print stories for different outlets on-the-go, standing side-by-side with established and seasoned journalists on the risers at an official election watch party in attempt to get the story first, persuading legendary Congressman Elijah Cummings to let me have a moment of his time for an interview, snagging and interview with Senator Ben Cardin and asking stimulating questions, pushing myself to the limit professionally and physically (it is now 5AM the following day & I still have yet to see my bed), and so much more—every moment of today has been simply amazing.
