If you look before the camera really zoom in when the constellation appears lifesize believe it or not if you can get away from Los Angeles far enough, or have been lucky enough to be sleeping outdoors in January 1994 smack dab in the middle of the San Fernando Valley when the earthquake hit ! I swear I saw just about that many stars . Not since the days of Isaac Lankershim and Mr Van Nuys founded their towns have you had a view like that in the valley ! I envy the Chumash Indians. The place must have been awesomely beautiful then. That nebula is visible with the naked eye in a dark place but it just looks like a small cloud maybe 1/5th the size of the moon. In LA you can see it with a telescope but nowhere near as spread out only the brightest parts of it.
