If you think Governor Mead had made the wrong call by deciding to prevent Wyoming educators from being able to adopt a science curriculum that acknowledges the human quotient of climate change, please join me in writing his office to voice your disappointment. governor.wy.gov/contactUs/Pages/default.aspx heres my letter To the honorable Governor Mead, I am saddened today to hear of your decision to prevent the Wyoming Department of Education from being able to review, implement or adopt any changes to the science curriculum that would identify the human causes of global climate changes as fact. Not only does 97% of the scientific community accept that humans play a role in the significant recent changes in out planets climate, but the youth of our great nation are the best hope we have at combating this issue. To deny the children of Wyoming the ability to be full participants in this cause is a disservice to our state, our nation, our children and our fellow humans. I am greatly saddened and disappointed in your choice to keep Wyoming from the forefront of this issue by relegating our children to the misconceptions of the past. With sincerest regards, Katie Ockers preschool teacher, mother, wife and proud citizen of Wyoming
