If you think you can be angry for more than a day or an hour... without manufacturing the constructs mentally that create this anger mentally, well then youre mistaken. There we go. The good Sam Harris I know and love from his books. The purpose of mediation and understanding ones self... explained so amazingly well by a neuroscientist without magic quality to it. Meditation is one of the strongest tools one can have in ones life to stop unconscious patterns. To be able to move forward because anger about many things can poison and hold us all back. And if we listen to these poisonous, often unconsciously adopted mental constructs, and constantly look back at negative triggers in our lives with them while trying to move onwards... its like trying to drive forward in a car with the parking brake on.
