I can use it for encouraging positive thinking in myself and those around me. With my children I try to remind them of this when they are struggling with something they are trying to master and I can see them being defeated by their mind versus their ability. As a mom I can find myself feeling defeated at moments when life gets chaotic, but I cant let my mind stay there. Many people struggling with being healthier or losing weight struggle with negative thinking and continually dont think or believe they can achieve....start affirming yourself daily. As Phillipians 4:8 reminds us: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. Change your thinking and you can change much!!!
