If youve been following VBM for a while, you know that until recently, we did not post messages online regularly. There are dozens, if not hundreds of unauthorized YouTube videos out there (thats right... we dont even have a YouTube channel, and 99% of the videos of me are posted there without my permission or knowledge), and we had some sample messages on sermonaudio/voddiebaucham (at their request). However, I was not comfortable posting regular/weekly messages from our church because I do not want to be used as an excuse for people not to find a local church. Nor do I want to be used to cause division in local churches (i.e., Pastor Voddie disagrees with you on so-and-so). Nevertheless, I recognize the benefits, and our elder body decided to start posting regularly, so its out there. But the problems are real! BTW... I do not consider myself a celebrity pastor with rock star status, but am still responsible for thinking through these things.
