Ill go through my freshman teachers and tell you how they are. Ewers (English I): One of the nicest people in the world. Kind, patient, fun and understanding teacher, but that doesnt get in the way of getting her point across. Not much homework. Could not imagine a better teacher in the world. Chipman (German I): Hell dispell any myths about German being difficult to learn, and includes various fun speaking activities in addition to writing. Big assignments are given time; you wont have to do a hundred notecards in one night. Have fun on the treasure hunt field trip at the end of the year! Youll learn more than youd expect and have fun doing it. Carity (World Studies): Pretty sure he only does economics classes now, but if not, youre in luck! Fun class, barely any homework, lots of extra credit opportunities. Youd have to TRY to fail. Guy (Biology): Do the homework and take notes, and shell like you. Raise your hand, and shell LOVE you. Lots of videos in class. Homework every night, pretty much, but its mostly notes and its short. I personally dont understand why so many people arent a fan of her. Aleksiak (Adv Algebra): Homework every night. This is NOT the class you want to fall asleep in, skip, be late for, or not pay attention in. Very fast-paced both in terms of taking notes every day and getting through chapters in general. Shes a no-nonsense teacher but not mean. May the force be with you. Serantoni (PE/Health): Dress. Participate. Only study the tests with the body parts and scientific names; the rest youll get by with common sense. Very nice and understanding teacher. Wont shame you for any medical condition that doesnt allow you to participate (including your period for the swimming unit) and does activities that make health class a TON less awkward. Faletto (Art I): Try your best, get help when you need it, and dont be stupid. This is a very social class, meaning when shes not talking to everyone, you can talk as much as you want. Easy tests that are reviewed for the day before. Besides that, its just making art the whole time. Shell love to help you if youre in trouble and shes very nice about it. This class is so chill youll think the whole room is stoned (please do not get stoned). So, I didnt have any bad teachers! If you have any questions, dont be shy, and have a GREAT year!
