Ill never understand how people stay on fb posting all these independent quotes, pics, or whatever.. lets get something really straight just incase your confused about the subject. If you aint got your kids, got your OWN place (not a room/living with a roommate), OWN transportation, a job or source of income which pays for your OWN life responsibilities and need other people to get by in those aspects then clearly, YOU ARE NOT INDEPENDENT. its hard out here as it is, but living in denial is the problem. Acknowledge what you dont have and accept what you need to work on. thats step one. Its what worked for me and im just passing some knowledge. Get out there ON your own. Get your own studio and out of your friend/family members house (grow up), $500 car, make that money get them bills payed early (it reflects and helps build credit**youll need that too**) if you got kids make sure you have them 80%+ of your free time.. dont make no excuses, dont depend on no one for NOTHING, get a back up plan and a savings account for emergencies and boom then you will not only be independent but youll also be secured in life. I mean dont be ashamed to say your going through some things cause we all been there done that. It amuses me when people get a slight step forward in life and use their progress for likes and putting others down. I was on welfare, didnt have my kids, lived with my mom, no education. THE STRUGGLE IS REAL because ignorance is a bliss. STEP YOUR LIFE UP and use that as a form to MOTIVATE those who struggle and dont have it as good (remember where you came from). I know everyone who knows me has seen me fall but im positively sure those same people have watched me struggle and pick myself up and as I lift myself higher I make sure im Loud about it. Im not boasting bragging or putting people down im just showing everyone by my set example that if I can make it this far ANYONE can. Im not stopping here. In fact im far from where I see myself going. Whats important is not where im at today. Its the fan that im still growing and quitting is not an option. Im inspiring those with no hope to have more.. thinking positive is great hun, but acting on that positivity is where its at.
