Illinois Department of Transportation announces the following lane closures beginning MONDAY: PEORIA – The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that traffic will be reduced to one lane on IL 97 at two locations in Knox County, starting Monday, January 27th. · The bridge carrying IL 97 over Haw Creek, located approximately six miles northwest of Maquon. · The bridge carrying IL 97 over Little Haw Creek, located approximately four miles northwest of Maquon. These lane closures are scheduled to continue until Friday, January 31st and are necessary to complete soil work beneath the bridges. Flaggers will direct traffic during this time.
