Im a very proud father today. My son Dominic and I won the Pony Express team race at the Mad Mountain Bike Club this afternoon. We were very fortunate to be placed together as teams were randomly selected at nominations. I didnt get a wink from Peter Lister so Im going to presume it really was random but regardless I thank Peter for his help with the club and especially the kids!! It was a massive effort for both of us in the heat, Ive been a little busy lately and havent done as much training as I would normally. I didnt get much rest as my little buddy was ripping around his section of the track so quickly Id barely gotten off my bike and it was time to go again. At one point I was wishing hed slow down so I could get some recovery time. Dominic says well both sleep pretty good tonight.
