Im breaking my temporary Facebook silence (temporarily), because Ive just gotten confirmation of something very cool and its time sensitive. Next Tuesday, December 9 at 6:30pm, I will be moderating a 60-minute, live-audience discussion with wine writer Jon Bonné for the Commonwealth Club. Essentially, Ill be interviewing Jon and also taking questions from the audience. Afterward, there will be a tasting of excellent wines from Broc Cellars, Dashe Cellars, Donkey and Goat, and Waits-Mast. The event will be at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center in Lafayette (East Bay). Theres already a really good crowd attending, but there are still some tickets available. Tickets are $15 for members, $25 for the general public, and include the tasting. (All attendees must be 21 or over.) Im really excited about this event as its always interesting to talk with Jon Bonne and there are a lot of great things happening in California wine to discuss. Im also a long-time member/supporter of the Commonwealth Club and it will be fun to be on the other side of the microphone.
