Im curious about what people think about the issue of marrying immigrants without citizenship. I say that I would be much more skeptical of allowing my daughters to marry ANYONE of ANY race or hue that does not already have their American/Canadian/European citizenship (none of the other countries have nearly as much trouble getting into and staying in the US). I wouldnt flat out FORBID it but it would be a HUGE source of concern for me as a father concerned with the emotional well-being of my daughters. This concern stems from the very well-known practice of immigrants marrying women just to expedite (and sometimes even fund) their immigration process. Majority of the time (usually men) they drop the American woman as soon as they get a green card and marry someone from their home country. Would you say that my concern makes me prejudice?
