Im especially grateful to everyone who responded to my post regarding the hospital bed for our fellow Outer Banker in need. Im thrilled to say that the bed has been delivered and our friend is able to go home to be with his wife, his dog, close friends & family. Today is their anniversary and this is a great gift to them. Thank you to everyone who helped, wanted to help, sent thoughts & prayers their way, and for those who shared the post. A very special thank you to the Wanchese Community Center for loaning the bed via the Lions Club and to Jean for sharing the post to many, and to Ben Murry for arranging the delivery. A huge thank you to John Keenan and Lyndie Harris of Moneys Worth for graciously donating their services and truck to make the delivery. The Outer Banks is a special place.
