Im feeling for my mate at the moment , cos gee, she does so much for our maori community aye , you know , for our people who live here and shes been doing it for so many years , as long as i can remember , and ive been here for a long time too but , its so easy for others to sit on the sidelines, be inactive and take pot shots at those who are trying to achieve things for others and at the same time look after their own whanau and whare and all that goes with that. There are literally heaps of our maori people out there who have taken her lead and are doing great things in our community , feeding , clothing, being with and taking care of the homeless and those in crisis , experiencing difficult times . These whanau have aroha and wairua to burn but when one of them suffers a crisis in their own whanau and the community come to their distress call in an awesome act of tautoko which can only be described as nothing short of amazing , who is waiting in the shadows , with their questions , and finger pointing and being just a plain old nasty pastie and wanting to know all those ....... Wheres mine .. What about me .. I should be the one who made this happen , well , you didnt ..and what about you Before the fact , you were inactive Kia Kaha my mate , ive seen you take on and beat bigger beasts than this and come out the other side and you have a huge following behind you that will support you wether you choose to fight .......or walk away with your head held high , its all good ....
