Im finally able to access FB again with the help of friend, Todd. Thanks Todd!!! Earl is still making a little more progress for now and has lost a little more of his fluid build up. Therapists have been getting him up every morning for a short walk with his walker down the hall to the nurses station. He is eating some and is finally a lot less confused. He still sleeps a lot, but at least things are still progressing. His cousin is with him again tonight, so I have the night off and was able to come back home and spend some time with our cats and take care of routine tasks. Ill go back up early in the morning and spend the day and tomorrow night with him. Right now, he just doesnt want to be alone. The doctors are talking about moving to a care facility in Omaha on Monday or Tuesday if he continues the way he is now. When the time comes, he can receive hospice care at that facility or I can bring him home for 24/7 hospice care here. I think he would most definitely prefer to come home if possible - well see how things progress. He does realize his outcome, but doesnt know about the hospice part of it yet and we are telling him he is going to a rehab center to get stronger, instead of saying nursing home. Thanks for all the well wishes, prayers and concerns. Im burning out quickly having to drive to Omaha every day - I just hope the weather wont get too bad over the weekend. terry
