Im going to say things to diminish your testimony about the injustices youve experienced. Im going to tell you that youre wrong. Trust me, I know better than someone like you. And then Im going to tell you that you have anger problems. And then Ill tell you that Im better than you because Im going mask my intellectual cowardice in pseudo-pacifism when I walk away from the conversation, instead of understanding. This way, when I say Im going to walk away now, what that will really do is convey to others exactly like me is that Im a generous, and not chickenshitted, soul.
