Im gonna have to spill my guts on this site, here, not on my personnel one, cause that doesnt do any good, and just maybe it will knock some sense into some of you who think you doing a good thing!!!! Ive been at this barn for 3 years as a boarder , spend some two years prior to owning my own horses there riding somebody elses.I have seen many come and go, in good terms and in bad. When I bought my horse, I made a commitment to this animal, myself, my family...and most important....my bank account !!!! I know I had the finances, my family was on board and I wanted something that appreciated me for what I do for it (without talking back). And with that, I bought a second one, since my daughter got into riding and showing me, after leasing one for over a year, that her intensions to own a horse where real, and not just a thingto do or have. With that, my responsibility to my horses is to have a proper place for them, feed,farrier, a vet ,time and again....a bank account!!!! Here is where Im getting at, and you might not like it, but, I really dont give a shit , knowing that there are others who feel the same way but wont say anything,because they might hurt those peoples feelings....(been there , got me nowhere )... Before you go out and get yourself another horse, may it be out of boredom , dont no what to do with your time or money (that you might just have right now)... Make sure that this animal, coming down that driveway, will have all the papers that it needs in hand,and that it is ,besides being malnourished, healthy , in order to be boarded at a facility with 60 plus other horses.!!!!!Make sure, that you are aware that your expenses will double, your grain and hay will go twice as fast(should this be your second horse ) and that you have time ,grain and hay!!!!! What was the point of getting this horse out of a ,mmmh lets say you saw it as a bad situation and all you did really was took it out from there and then is at this barn with no feed as well , later,....2 months down the road, because you ran out of money or had no time to stop by and brought grain ....(which btw. My horses have yet to miss a day ,not getting their grain and so are a very few others.... How do I know...because Im out there,4-5 days per week, still hold a job,a household and a kid to take care of) so....really ,you havent done anything for this horse, besides moved it to a different place, maybe brought some shit along with it, make other boarders worry and have those spent money on vet check because all of the sudden their horses gotten sick. Check yourself.....get your shit straight and think!!!!! Im tired of watching people make such stupid mistakes, by not thinking this thru!!!!! By no means is it my attend to talk you out of anything or tell you what to do... However...if you dont take the time or come with proper papers in hand I will take it straight to Barnett this time.....cause Im not planing to booster up my horses again or cough up another $300 for a virus brought in by something that should have been left where it was in the first place.... Call me cruel.....I called it common sense !!!!!!
