Im grateful that Senator Skelos listened to the veterans who were demanding that he send the bill to Governor Cuomo before Election Day. Now, Governor Cuomo needs to sign the bill before Election Day. The governor has 30 days to sign the bill or veto it. That would take him well past Election Day. But, there is no reason to wait. If he supports the bill, he should sign it now. If he opposes it, then he shouldnt play politics and he should tell the veterans he opposes it.
