Im not a fan of Kimberly and Beck, like AT ALL. And honestly, what they said was deplorable, but Im sick and tired of seeing radio personalities jobs being threatened or taken away because of something they said either in humor or commentary. I support the LGBT community in all their beliefs and applaud Rochesters new health policy, but this is getting scary. Don Imus, Opie and Anthony, and Howard Stern have all been fired because of things they said on air that we deemed inappropriate, indecent, or offensive. This is why Radio has become the archaic, sterilized, mass-produced dying medium that it is today. While what these people said was horrible, it should be their lack of ratings as a result of pissing off their audience that gets them fired, not petitions and guerilla warfare against their advertisers. Man, what the hell happened to free speech in this country? I hope when they do get fired they get replaced by non-interrupted white noise, because thats what we deserve anymore. God forbid any of you mob-mentality words can hurt lemmings out there utter something offensive at work, itll be your head on the chopping block and you know what? Youll deserve it. Make NO mistake, I found their views on their show disgusting, but Im willing to stand up for their right to say them. Because we live in America, a supposed free-speech country...
