Im not a socialist. I just voted online at a shareholder proxy vote for some shares that I buy every month. I have two favorite companies that I support and belong to. Not to make a quick buck at the expense of people, get rich quick, rape the environment, and then leave (that is pure capitalism) but to support, in a small way, two companies that I like. Issues? Yep... but Ive seen the changes addressed over the years, as something grows in a companys consciousness and it is voted on and it occurs (or not). Im not for pure socialism or pure capitalism, but to think that either is the only way is absurd and quite a willingness to not think. Discussing what is best/worst of both and other forms of economy, helps us make a better system. If you that the chemical spills in West Virginia are meh, part of the way things are, then I consider you an idiot. Sorry... but thats the truth.
