Im not anti-supplement guy by any means but the majority of the emails I receive are from teenagers describing their diet and training program followed by so I was wondering what supps you suggest I take? - Supplements are not the answer, they are supplements. Especially for the 15 year olds emailing me, please dont go spending your allowance on some under-dosed ineffective bullshit because your jacked role model or favorite natural bodybuilder said they use it. If you want to spend money on anything, buy a book or subscribe to some credible research and build a foundation of knowledge while youre young. Take advantage of your youth! Im not trying to sound like a dick, just being real, and this doesnt just apply to teenagers, its general advice. Many bodybuilding athletes believe nutritional supplements are necessary for optimal progress, although many claims made for commercially marketed supplements for bodybuilding athletes are not supported by current research (Grunewald & Baily, 1993).
