Im not sure I have any remaining ire to express now that this morally repugnant piece of legislation has finally found a place to fester. Its not surprising that this place should be Mississippi considering the states long history of active oppression of minority groups. The only solace to be found in this horrific situation is that, with the entire world watching such casual implementation of injustice, the religious right takes another step forward towards self immolation. Hypocritical ideologies will not survive the progression of human reason. There is no greater display of blatant hypocrisy, than to tack on a measure adding In GOD We Trust to the state seal onto a religious freedom bill already so thoroughly savaging civil liberty.
