🌹🌹🌹🌹 Im so proud! Every year, my sweet sister decorates a tree to raise money for Hospice. She and her students collect money to decorate the tree with books and literary characters, in honor of Cindys late friend and colleague, Iris Polattie. Ms. Polattie lost her battle with cancer in 1998. Cindy has decorated a tree every year in her honor. Ms. Po was also my eighth grade literature teacher and I know she would be thrilled with every tree Cindy, Edgewood Middle School students and my Mom have decorated. This year, the reading tree won the 3rd highest bid. It sold for $925 for Hospice! Just for you, Ms. Po! We honor your memory, love and miss you!
