Im soooo envious!!! Our next door neighbor is kicking some serious boooty out there!! We have such dangerous stairs in need of repair, in the front & the back yards, and 2 decks that need replacing soo badly. I actually FELL on the back stairs, a few years ago, after one step just rotted through right out from under me, which (of course) worsened my l knee & jacked up my r shoulder. I WISH WISH WISH that WE could build some sturdy, strong back stairs like these!!!! Our decks & stairs SHOULD HAVE BE REPLACED YEARS AGO, YIKES! I HATE Marks job. He is Off of work waaaaay more than he works, he has only worked 10 days since Jan 2013...(Union lay offs & new contracted job .....BS). ***Do any of YOU live like this, As UNION WORKERS? & If so....HOW do U make it like this? We USED TO b able to RELY on 2 STEADY PAY CHECKS, oooooh how I long 4 those days!!! I TRULY HATE NOT WORKING, & SUPPORTING MYSELF, & MY FAMILY, & Im getting Soooooooo TIRED of being in THIS MUCH CONSTANT PAIN!!! It is NOT an EZ way to live. I USED TO WORK SO HARD. ( which done of you dont even know), & U would NEVER see me just sitting down!!! I was faaar too busy & productive. I EVEN EARNED 2 COLEGE DEGREES BY THE TIME I TURNED 41yrs old (while raising 3 kids of my own +++ sooooo many others!!!! Unfortunately, however, just 26 days after I earned my BA degree, in Human Development (while also working as a chauffeur, aaand an elementary school science teacher, so I could become a Jr high school teacher & counselor) ...my 10 yr old daughter & I were SLAAAAMED from behind in a hit n run accident (right b4 the Ashby exit in Berkeley.) We were SLAAAAMED by the HUGEST 18 Wheeler on the road .....by FAR!! & Now, 16 years later (AS OF TODAY!!!) ......that PIECE O SHIT truck driver is still out there ...happily feeding HIS family & SUPPORTING HIMSELF, and is able to stand, walk, & run ....PAIN FREE, which I CAN NO LONGER, EVER, DO AGAIN .... EVER!!! (& I Havent been able to, since my 3rd spinal fusion ....the double lumbar fusion that revealed my mangled nerves & the horrible damage that had been done to them)!!! BE GRATEFUL THAT U ....CAN STAND & WALK, WITHOUT INTOLERABLE PAIN. & DO BE GRATEFUL THAT U CAAAN WORK, IM SO HAPPY FOR ALL WHO CAN. AAAND WATCH OUT FOR ASS HOLE BIG RIG DRIVERS THAT ARE CLEARLY IN A HUGE HURRY (although, this dude shot over 6 lanes in 30 seconds ....he was speeding, & I NEVER SAW HIM COMING!!! HOWEVER ....How suuuper COOL was it that I was CERTIFIED as an Anti Terrorist Driver @ SEARS POINT RACEWAY (now Infinion), in 1994?!!! THAT SAVED OUT LIVES!! @ Least I was able to use my knowledge of vehicle straight distribution, & my new mad driving SKILLS to manage NOT BEING KILLED!!! Soooo, For that Brilliant Life Saving knowledge...... I am sooooooo verry GRATEFUL.
