Im sure youve all heard Tom Duffy & Maracatu Ilha Brilhante do their thing at the Samba Festival every year....theyre the guys with the funny looking drums with the strings on the sides - alfias to be exact. Well next July will see them bring together Maracatu bands from all over Europe & further afield for the European Maracatu Enconto right here in Ireland - Limerick to be exact.
