Im tired of people throwing “Black on Black” crime in my face every time police get away with killing unarmed Black people or the general public. Black-on-Black crime/murder is high but so is White-on-White crime/murder. According to the FBIs most recent homicide statistics, in 2011 for example, 83% of white murder victims were killed by fellow Caucasians. There is Asian-on-Asian crime/murder, and Latino-on-Latino crime/murder. Why don’t the media report that? There are Black people and other ethnicities out here creating solutions to ending the violence in the Black communities every day but the media refuse to talk about that. However, when police murder a Black people with impunity and public outcry ensues, the media asks, where is the outrage to the violence in the Black community? How obtuse. Many of us are fighting the violence in the Black communities by way of mentoring, feeding the homeless and providing educational, and job opportunities. In many instances, the same people that are critical of the violence in the Black community and communities throughout America, are not doing a damn thing to help stop it.
