Im very confused and disturbed. The officer, a Black guy (I think), asked the passenger to produce identification. Passenger complies and the cop saw a gun. The cop then reaches into the car and removes the gun. Then the cop is yelling at the guy to not move, put his hands where he can see them, and to get out the car; conflicting request of actions. You faintly hear one of the guys in the car, assuming Jerame Reid, say that theyre stepping out the car to lay on the ground. As Jerame try to get out the car, the officer is trying to keep the car door shut but steps back and get in a tactical stance to take aim. Jerame steps out the car with hands up and it look like hes in the process to lay on the ground and thats when the officer unloads several shots. Im so conflicted and disturbed by this officers actions; on one hand the passenger seem to be complying which should have put the officer at a comfortable level of competence. On the other hand, this officer knew or know of Jerame because he called the passenger by his first name. The officer should have kept a level of calm because of possible previous interactions, instead of going from 10 to 100 with the threatening nature to kill. Im just lost... Truly lost... Side Note: Sad that 45 years ago, non-White Americans were granted full access to freedom and the level of disproportionate police brutality still exist.
