Immanuel Emoefe:A Silent Philanthropist with Credibility-Godday Odidi His Excellency Chief (Evang) Immanuel Emoefe is the Chairman and Managing Director of Portplus Limited that deals on marine and shipping services in Nigeria and abroad. He holds a Masters degree in International politics. He was born into a humble family of Pa Emoefe of Ikpide Irri community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State. As a young man growing up in a riverine community, he knew what he wanted in life and pursued his career to a Masters degree with other management certificates to his credit. In 2012, precisely, Evang Immanuel Emoefe broke into silence when he donated #10 million relief materials to Isoko flood victims where his own village (Ikpide) was submerged in the flood including his own personal abode. He was not deterred rather waited for government relief materials but decided to put smiles on the faces of Isoko flood victims. One thing about Evang Immanuel Emoefe is that, he dislikes pride and vainglory. He believes that every wealth a man possesses belongs to God not man. He does not allow his wealth to intoxicate him in life. On April 2, 2014, Evang Emoefe was given Investiture as the Honorary Consul of Guinea Bissau by His Excellency, Manuel Serifo Nhamadjo, President and Commander-in-Chief, Armed Forces of the Republic of Guinea Bissau.Today; Evang Immanuel Emoefe is addressed as” His Excellency “and September 22, he marked his birthday in a low key. He is not just a philanthropist without Christ but a born-again Christian who is only interested in pursuing heavenly things of God. His words: I prefer heavenly commendation than human praise. He has eventually touched every community in Isokoland and Nigeria in all ramifications.Portplus Limited as a company believes on integrity and honesty. Everybody that works with Evang Emoefe would never regret in life except such a person has been cursed by his or her family. Again, he likes supporting the things of God in his life. He has devoted a special thanksgiving day with God for keeping him and family alive. Within the space of three years of a silent philanthropist, he has received several awards including Irri Federal Union (Lagos) and others, Irri traditional title as the”Okpugo of Irri Kingdom” where conferment were made on his behalf and ordained as an Evangelist and just mention but a few. Many politicians in Delta State want him to join the murky waters of politics but he has objected that move. As a trained politician by profession, he makes a good leadership if he is ready to be elected in Nigeria. Finally, Evang Immanuel Emoefe is one man that has total love for the poor. He does not look down on people than helping to solve their problems in his own capacity. He is a man full of wisdom and knowledge in all levels. He always wants faithful people to be his business partners’ .He has worked in the oil and gas sector for 8 years with multiple experiences in life and started Portplus Limited in 2004, a company that has grown beyond the shore of Nigeria.Again, his words, to young Isoko people, be patient and faithful in your callings and God will always remember you in the time of need.
