Important information regarding use of our patient portal... An Important Notice to Our Patients... Over the past few years, you’ve had the opportunity to use our existing patient portal; allowing you to register online, update your demographic information as well as order contact lenses and pay your bill. In order to meet the meaningful use criteria established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, our current portal has been deactivated. As part of our ongoing commitment to patient care and customer service, Montgomery Eye Physicians will soon launch our new, technologically advanced patient portal. This convenient, secure and HIPAA compliant tool will allow you to access your important personal healthcare information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any location with Internet connectivity. The patient portal will be a valuable gateway for communication between you and your healthcare team at Montgomery Eye. Within the portal you may: • Complete the patient registration process (for both new and existing patients) • Update demographic information • Update your medical history • Request an appointment • Request prescription refills • Request a referral • Order contact lenses • Review your medical record • Obtain test results • Receive educational materials including preventative care information • Exchange messages with your provider and staff • View past and current statements • Pay your bill Our improved interactive portal will allow you to participate in your care by having access to functions and information you value from our Practice.
