In 2008 Shri Ajay Sopory organised a Bhagawat Saptah in pune Ashram and Vidyavachaspati (this title was conferred to him by Shankaracharya) Shri Ashokbaba Kulkarni was the speaker. Baba is a very evolved saint. He is a seer too and gives Shri Vidya diksha to people with the authority of Ma- is a fervent devotee of Ma. One day Ajaybhai and i were in Babas house in Pune and were talking about what happens to souls who have died in an unnatural manner eg. Murdered or by accident or suicide etc. he was explaining that these souls need to be freed by doing their Shraadh ( ceremony which is a 12 day process) and then the Bhagawat. Once they die the rituals have to be done immediately and that too by the family. If they have not done this the souls are wandering in the ethereal world and are quite restless. If it is not done on time then later for the rituals one has to go to Kurukshetra to get it done by special Brahmins. Ma gave a lot of importance to all this, which we are all aware of. Ajaybhai realised that he had 9 such members of his distant family and friends who had died in this manner and so decided to go through the entire process out of sympathy towards them. The Shraadh was done and now comes the time for Bhagawat-- one day as the Bhagawat was going on Shantatai( sister of Ashokbaba,who sings in all of Babas Bhagawats and is his elder sister.) and i noticed suddenly as he was speaking, he stammered for a short while and then was okay. Shantatai and i wondered what that was since Baba never stammers-- his speech flows. At that very moment an old devotee had just entered the hall and he sat down to listen. Now we go to the next day. At the insistance of Swami Bhaskaranandaji this entire story was narrated to us by Baba in the Bhagawat! It was--- when Baba stammered, there was a very devilish soul who suddenly stood in front of Baba and entered his body to possess him since he was a soul that Ajaybhai had forgotten to include and was very angry about it!!!! He mentioned this to Baba!!! At that very second Ma was next to Baba and entered Babas body and drove that soul out and took over the Bhagawat!!!!She was narrating the Bhagawat for a short while till Baba got back his bearings!!! This was seen by that devotee who had come to listen. He in the night had gone to Babas room to tell him that he had come to hear his Bhagawat but when he entered it was Ma speaking with Her yellow towel on Her!!!!! The next day Baba saw Ma sitting on a swing in the Satsang hall not just with those 9 souls but this devilish one also who Ajaybhai had forgotten because when Baba gave him the description of the person Ajaybhai realised he was in his distant family and who had commited suicide!!!! Ma had not only these 9 plus this one, ten but had 5 more souls with Her on the swing and was embracing all of them!!!!! Baba saw all this and mentioned to Ajaybhai and he then remembered the rest too, who he had comletely forgotten!!!! So what if the child forgets--- The Mother is there to take care of the childs shortcomings!!!!! This way Ajaybhais efforts were amply rewarded By Ma!! She released total 15 souls who were wandering in the ethereal world since many years!!!!! Jai Ma.
