In 2009 I worked over night at Walmart where I became friends with a man that most wouldnt. You see this man did not smell the best and he looked pretty rough.. on my way to work one night in the pouring rain I passed him walking to work.. so I turned around and asked him if he would like a ride and from that day on I was his ride to and from work. Today 5 years later I seen the same man sitting on the side of the road.. I knew he was making his long walk home.. This time with my kids with me I pulled over.. He was shocked that I remembered him and his family.. When he got out at his home, the boys had a lot of questions.. and their response was mom we need to buy him a bicycle so he can get to work faster. (tears) He is a very dedicated worker.. He might not smell the best, read or write the best but this is a man who was delt a very bad hand who has been taking advantage of and who has worked many years with very little income but still makes that journey daily.. I try to teach the kids daily to always be kind to others.. 5 years latter and this man is still a blessing to me.. So while some read this living in a 250+ home, sitting behind your desk making $$$$ their are men and women out there that would do anything to make a 1/4 of what you do.. so do not complain about your job and how you need more pay cause chances are not many people would do what my friend does..
