In 4-2 vote, the Homer Advisory Planning Commission just now voted not to reconsider the preliminary plat for the Quiet Creek subdivision near Homer High School. The commission voted at its last meeting to recommend the preliminary plat to the Kenai Peninsula Borough Platting Committee. This means that the previous decision stands, and the planning commission did not want to bring back to the table the preliminary plat. Commissioners Larry Slone and Roberta Highland voted for reconsideration.
