In Honor of the 4th Holiday this is a translation of the first sentence of Thomas Payne’s introduction of Common Sense 3rd edition, as it applies today. The underlined passage is a direct quote. Please look up the original sentence and ask yourself if history is not repeating itself. I wish all of you, Freedom, Independence and Privacy. It is obvious that the thoughts, opinions and feelings that are stated here aren’t embraced by the mainstream media, and those who follow them, after generations of being “educated” in our school system by denying access to factual history, a long habit of not thinking a thing WRONG, gives it a superficial appearance of being RIGHT, and would put you on the defense of what you were taught to believe was fact. This, “ new, reasonable education” slowly becomes the new truth, and the converts become the majority. But as we witness a constant and violent Abuse of Power, ( Which, has been brought to light from the TEA PARTY MOVEMENTS, by its constant and abusive targeting) by the President who claims the Congress, and the Media as his own, WE GOOD CITIZENS HAVE EVERY RIGHT AND AUTHORITY TO DEMAND ACCOUNTABALITY AND REJECTION OF ALL OF THESE WRONG DOINGS.
