In January, 2015, Egypts Muslim President Sisi made a brave speech - TopicsExpress

In January, 2015, Egypts Muslim President Sisi made a brave speech challenging Islamic religious leaders to address the issues that lead to violence, justified by some Muslims based on their views of Islam. Egypt is the worlds most populous Arab nation, but contains a large Christian minority, known as the Coptic Christians. Coptic Christians have maintained their unique identity since 450 AD (in spite of persecution by Egypts Muslim Brotherhood), and Christians existed in Egypt before that. Note that if you view the video above in facebook, you cannot easily see the English translation subtitles. Viewing the URL directly outside of facebook, the subtitles can be easily read. Consistent with their being the mouthpiece for the Muslim Brotherhood, I could not find coverage by Al Jazeera on this very important talk. However, I plan to attach the reactions of Dr. Raymond Ibrahim (representing a Coptic viewpoint), former US Ambassador John Bolton, and a columnist for Al Arabiya (Saudi Arabian media) on this historical talk, and its implications. https://youtube/watch?v=POGpIt2U4s4
