In Memory of GYPSY-Mamma Dog-She was a Springer Spaniel (thought to be a Beagle Mix). She roamed the streets of Benton, Reading, FM 762, Crabb River Rd-between Thurs. 12/18 thru Mon 12/22. To all who worked on behalf of Mamma Dog-- Posting. Praying. Etc. -- Thank you! She received a proper burial. She is buried in a pet cemetery area on a fellow animal lovers farm. (Special thanks to Gabriela Alvarez Koehn for your tough discovery this morning and your quick response). ((For those new to this situation: she was spotted on Benton-Reading rd on 12/18. She traveled to Greatwood and had her picture taken there. NO ONE COULD CATCH HER bc she was so scared. She walked down Crabb River Road and managed to cross FM 762 and perished around 9am Mon 12/22. Se was still very very pregnant. The dog lovers started all realizing she needed a proper burial because she was indeed a very very very good Mamma Dog. She was nicknamed Gypsy after her passing. My girls and myself went and picked her up, went to Rose Rich Animal Clinic. They scanned her for a chip. No luck. Pups were deceased. They gave us a burial box. I contacted fellow animal lover/farmer and he agreed to let her be buried on his property in his pet cemetery. She has a headstone. I applaud Gypsy the Mamma Dog because she sets an example for us all--take care of your own!))
