In My Dream...A woman had just gotten out of the water and was standing by a man. To wring out her hair, she used an old wash press. She held the board up to each quadrant of long hair on her head. With each turn of the crank handle, the water was squeezed out and the wash press made a squeaky er-ee, er-ee that only a rusty old press could make. I woke up. In Real Life...Outside my window was a little songbird, repeatedly whistle-chirping a bright,four-note song that only a bird could make.
