In a few minutes, I will head out to work my second-to-last night of my laboratory career. Feels so surreal. I am hyper-aware of every moment. The next 8-10 weeks will continue to be a time of very mixed emotions. I am so excited to move forward, but I have some significant goodbyes to face as well. Goodbyes are never easy and typically I simply refuse to acknowledge them. This time I am going to experience them, rather than block them out of my mind. I think! LOL I guess well see.
