In an exclusive interview with Naxatra News, Shri Alok Jena, whose petition in the Supreme Court about massive Chit Fund racket in Odisha, led to CBI investigation into the whole scam, makes sensational revelation about how the entire fraud took place under direct patronage of CM Naveen Patnaik and his close political associates. He talks about having documented proof regarding transfer of Rs. 77 lakhs from Sriya Talkies Axis Bank account of Artha Tatwa Group, currently under the scanner for cheating people of over Rs. 550 crores, to IRCTC towards booking of special trains to ferry 25,000 party workers, MLAs and MPs to New Delhi for BJD’s Swaabhiman Samabesh Yatra in Ramlila Maidan, held on 12 June 2013. This transfer was done under explicit instructions of Kalpataru Das, BJD Rajya Sabha MP and Naveen’s close adviser, who himself is embroiled in multiple land scams in Dharmasala, Bhubaneswar, Jajpur and Sukinda. Alok Jena also claims to have presented proof to CBI about CM’s close lieutenant Sharat Sahu having made hundreds of phone calls to Seashore Company promoter Prashant Das and Artha Tatwa Group CMD Pradeep Sethy to arrange funds for BJD’s party activities. Till now, CBI and Enforcement Directorate have already unearthed irrefutable evidence against 34 BJD leaders, 3 Congress leaders and 1 BJP leader about their involvement in this massive loot. He alleges that Seashore Group Head Prashant Das himself used to carry cash to CM’s residence. According to circumstantial evidence, CM’s once chief political adviser Pyarimohan Mohapatra, who after falling out with Naveen floated his own party – Odisha Jana Morcha, seems to have been the kingpin of the Chit Fund scam. Apparently, a lot of this black money has been channelized to finance companies run by Pyari Mohapatra in Dubai. CBI has bagged evidence of Pyari Mohapatra having visited Dubai 16 times in the past to look after these family businesses. And our CM still goes abound brandishing his clean image?
