In celebration of love, perseverance and HOPE, we share our miracles with you. Watch Matthieu on one of his walks! Matthieu, our favourite old man, is a living miracle and a testament to our core values; to never give up on any of our charges. Given a death sentence by the vet when he was rescued at about 10 years old, Matthieu has proven his skeptics wrong and walks again! We are so proud of our Old Man who has shown the world what determination, love and a never give up attitude can do. He has gone from not being able to move a hair, to twitching his hind legs, walking briefly to now; going on regular and long walks. An extremely sweet and adorable boy, he yearns for pats and hugs at all times! He is independent and gets along with other dogs as well. He has been showered with attention and love and we hope he will be blessed with a permanent home soon. He is still unable to control his bowels so it will be great if he has a garden to sun tan and enjoy his retirement.
