In his honor, I have to repost the presentation that Dr. Brian Evans made describing the factors that effect our vision and how the world looks through our eyes. I am reposting his brilliant presentation with the addition of some information about this wonderful man that I recently learned about him through the Pacific Albinism Project: Brian was born December 17, 1943 and unexpectedly passed February 3, 2013 while undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia. He was a telecommunications engineer for 30 years and received a PhD in Medical Physics from Barts. He saw direct comparisons in his technical work with digital TV and vision in albinism. This man understood us inside and out far better than any other doctor because he was one of us! While conventional medicine is in the habit of dismissing what we can see for just a fraction of our functional vision, this man went to great lengths to teach all of us what the doctors and the legal system fail to see! Share this link, save it, make sure doctors, school officials and others receive it so we can one day achieve better accommodations and more respect under policies that better apply to us. parentofachildwithalbinism/manager/wp-content/uploads/2008/EvansSCREEN.pdf
