In just 16 minutes Thursday evening, Guymon City Council approved two contracts for upgrades and improvements to city facilities. The first was with Environ for their proposed improvements to the wastewater treatment plant, including training of personnel and bolstering local limits and city ordinances. Council also accepted the recommendation by Myers Engineering to accept the low bid of $200,008 from Tank Pro Inc. of Northport, Alabama, to renovate the 1 million gallon northwest ground storage water tank.
