In life you will discover that people will let you down, family will let you down, friends will let you down, church folk will let you down. People can be flat out self centered and selfish, or just plan hateful. Its in these times that its YOUR responsibility to pay attention to your heart. Dont sit and stew over it, regurgitating it every 5 minutes & getting more upset by the minute. That doesnt help anything but give you high blood pressure and make you bitter. Do what I do.. I say, Kim, Dont let your heart be troubled. Trust in God! (John 14:1) then I BREATH & RELEASE!! Dont let people pull you into their storms, you pull them into your peace.
