In light of adverse conditions on today’s planned Ride The Rockies route, we made a determination that the safety of RTR participants was best served by ending today’s ride at approximately 4:00 pm. We are doing everything in our power to transport riders safely, efficiently and quickly to their lodgings in today’s host community, Winter Park. We make every effort to plan for the unexpected, and we appreciate the exceptional flexibility shown by our staff, volunteers and riders as conditions evolved throughout the afternoon. As we all know, Colorado weather is unpredictable. To all of our participants and sponsors, we recognize your dedication to Ride The Rockies as we look forward to the remainder of the tour as planned. We anticipate a great week of riding with you all, and ask for your continued patience as we focus on ensuring the safety of RTR participants.
