In line with our continuous thrust to make local research works on various fields of studies accessible to our Kapampangan educators, the Katipunan da ring Talasaliksik at Talaturung Kapampangan, Inc. (KATATAGAN) is set to conduct the Amlat Talakayan: Seminar-Workshop on Approaches in Writing and Teaching Local History on August 8, 2013, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Function Hall, Angeles City Library and Information Center, Angeles City. The event, which will be conducted by seasoned local history researchers and Kapampangan studies teachers, aims to: 1. Present various approaches in the writing and teaching of local history including reference materials; 2. Present a syllabus for the teaching of Kapampangan studies; and 3. Equip local history teachers, including students, with basic knowledge on how to write Ancient Kapampangan Script. The registration fee costs Php200.00 for non-members while Php150.00 for members. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.
