In regards to the post about safety issues tomorrow at SMS. I have removed the post. The original share was not from the posters own page, it was a share from a FB friend. The post was made Attachment Unavailable and the conversation no longer had continuity. Since the original post we have learned a few things. The Police, Administration, and School Board are very aware of the situation and steps have been taken to provide for the safety of all our RE-1 Valley students. Police will be visible tomorrow at the school and the situation with the student(s) in question has been handled. To the best of my knowledge, parents are receiving phone calls explaining, the threat for Sterling Middle school was examined and it was deemed false. I am unable to speak directly as to what the threat was however, after speaking with the other admins, we decided that the facts about the situation should come from official channels. We do not want to spread fear about something we have direct no knowledge of. I understand everyone wants to know what happened and I would expect an official statement will be made by the PD and the School. We just cant risk getting the details wrong on I Care Sterling. Please take the time to contact your school officials for more information.
