In response to recent events – We wish to share the following with you: First, we want the public to be assured that all of the dogs and cats at Molly’s Place are safe and happy. Contrary to what has been reported, the issues related to the facility and the animals were unfounded as a non-guilty verdict was issued. This situation with the PA Department of Agriculture has been ongoing for several months and Molly’s Place has filed timely appeals to ensure that the truth can be documented. As identified by our attorneys, the most recent actions of the PA Department of Agriculture are a result of conflicting legal interpretations of the law. Hence, we look forward to our “day in court” so both sides can be heard and these issues resolved.We are appreciative of your support during this difficult time. If you would like to assist us, we encourage you to reach out to your member of the PA Senate or House of Representatives to request legislative review of the policies of the PA Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Dog Law so these areas of inconsistency can be corrected.
